Are You Feeling the Call? How to Know If a Sacred Journey Is for You
There are seasons in life when the familiar begins to loosen its hold, not in one dramatic moment, but in a series of quiet, persistent shifts.

Are You Feeling the Call?
In the months ahead, I will be guiding pilgrimages to Egypt and Peru, sacred journeys into portals of remembrance.
These journeys are not for everyone. They are for those who feel the hum in their chest, the pull in their soul, the quiet recognition: this is for me.
If you are reading these words and feel the stirring, know this, the call does not come by accident. It comes when you are ready to step into your becoming.
There are seasons in life when the familiar begins to loosen its grip. Not always in one dramatic moment, but through quiet, persistent shifts:
- a dream that lingers like a message, - a phrase that echoes for weeks, - a hum in the chest that will not quiet down.
Piece by piece, it builds until it becomes undeniable: you are being called.
And sometimes, that call carries the name of a place.
For some, it is Egypt, where the temples sit in the land as sacred architecture, and the walls still speak. The stones hold energy medicine — ancestors, and sometimes a life you already know. To step here is to meet the Duat — the mystery of how life began, and the world of the afterlife.
For others, it is Peru, where the Andes rise as guardians and the heartbeat of Pachamama reverberates through every breath. Here the chakana holds the three worlds — inner, middle, and upper — and the Earth does not ask you to seek. She asks you to remember. Beneath starlight, with fire warm against the mountain air, the constellations whisper ancient memory within your being.
These are not vacations. They are initiations.
Three Signs You May Be Ready for a Sacred Journey
- Your inner life is louder than your outer life. On the surface, everything may appear “normal.” But inwardly, dreams, synchronicities, and emotions tug at you, insisting on deeper attention.
- Old measures of success feel hollow. What once fulfilled you no longer does. This unravelling is not failure, it is clearing space for something truer to emerge.
- The symbols won’t leave you alone. Egypt surfaces in conversations, books, or dreams. Peru arrives in your awareness through songs, images, or visions. Repetition is not coincidence; it is guidance.
What Makes a Sacred Journey Different from Travel
A sacred journey is not escape. It is remembrance. Every temple, every ceremony, every silence becomes a living classroom — a mirror for your own awakening.
In Egypt, you may find yourself standing in a temple whose proportions were built to change you. Hieroglyphs, sound, and the quiet of the chamber do the work. Rebirth here is a shedding — then the Duat opens as a lived passage of purification, ritual, and ceremony.
In Peru, you may sit in ceremony beneath the open sky, feeling the Andes breathe with you as the constellations above ignite remembrance in your heart. The chakana is its own teaching: inner world, middle world, and upper world held as one living map on the land.
These are not moments you collect. They are moments that collect you.
Two lands, two teachings
Peru holds the chakana — the three worlds of the Andes: what is below, what is lived, and what is above.
Egypt holds the Duat — the world of the afterlife, and the mystery of how life began. The teaching is in the sand and the stone: architecture, the land, and the language on the walls.
They are not the same map. One is not a substitute for the other. If you feel the call, you already know which land is speaking first.
Preparing Yourself for the Call
You don’t need to understand the full why before stepping forward. The journey begins the moment you say yes.
Begin creating stillness each day. Journal the symbols that arrive. Meet fear with curiosity. Even this is part of the initiation.
The Invitation
The next open pilgrimage is the Egypt Winter Solstice initiation, December 20, 2026 to January 3, 2027.
The next Peru window is still to be confirmed, and the waitlist is open.
