Ancient Egyptian temples are sonic instruments — not museums. Their proportions, placement on the land, and the way sound moves through stone were calibrated as energy medicine. At Karnak, Dendera, and the Sanctuary of Sekhmet, when we bring ceremony, breath, and sacred instruments inside them, something happens that cannot be replicated in a studio, retreat centre, or online container. We meet the design; we do not overlay a workshop onto old walls.

The depth available in these spaces is why this journey exists. The rest of the teaching belongs in the temple — not on a website.

In ceremony, the temples and the Nile become a map of the body. Temple by temple, we descend from crown to root, and the body recalibrates, attuning to the sacred geometry of the land, the temples, and the pyramids. Through elemental ceremony and sacred plant allies, we ground the light into the body and seed it into the gridwork of the Earth. This is the work, and this is the nervous system reset. It is our sacred responsibility to the rising consciousness of humanity.

Movement 01 — Cairo: The Crown, Resurrection (Dec 20–23)

• Body: On the Winter Solstice, we meet the Giza Plateau for sunrise with private access to the Great Sphinx and the Great Pyramid and sacred sound in the King's Chamber. Here at the crown, the journey opens into remembrance and resurrection. At Saqqara, we descend into hidden sacred sites, where the oldest Pyramid Texts hold the teachings of the soul's rebirth. Those who wish may visit the Grand Egyptian Museum in their own rhythm.

Movement 02 — Luxor (Dec 24–26)

• Body: The ceremonial heart of the journey. We fly south to Luxor and cross both banks of the Nile — Karnak, Hatshepsut. Private openings at Karnak and the Sanctuary of Sekhmet. The Seven Gates walked as a living passage. This names the spine only: Luxor holds far more than five movements can list — and what matters most is private. Doors that stay ours. Silence long enough to drop in.

Movement 03 — Abydos & Dendera (Dec 27–28)

• Body: From Luxor we travel to Abydos — the Temple of Osiris, where Egypt buried her deepest mystery — and to Dendera, the Temple of Hathor, built for sound, light, and the solar feminine.

Movement 04 — Nile Passage (Dec 28–31)

• Body: We board a private dahabiya and sail south for 4 nights. Ceremony, sound, and dance on the river, with stops at sacred sites along the way — among them Edfu and Kom Ombo, and others held for the circle. Along the Nile we also visit unnamed sites on purpose: sacred sites the river reveals at its pace. We do more than two temples on this passage. The Nile does its own work.

Movement 05 — Aswan: The Root, The Mother (Jan 1–3)

• Body: The journey arrives in Aswan, the land of Nubia, where the Nile flows through the granite of the first cataract and the ancients honored the source of the sacred river. With private access to the Temple of Isis at Philae, we meet the Great Mother in the sanctuary that kept her rites alive longer than any other temple in Egypt. This is the root, where we ground into the body and the Earth. In ceremony on the Nile, we pass through the Gates of Isis with elemental magick and prayer.

Egypt still holds the question of how life began, and the afterlife. We enter that field through ritual and ceremony — quietly. Some meet a past life or ancestors without seeking it. The land is enough either way. The work is to honor the sacred, and to see the sacred in the meal, the river, and the circle coming home.

I would typically take a group to Mount Sinai after initiation. That mountain is an activation of its own. Several years ago, the Oracle of Siwa came to me in vision — before I had ever stood there — so precise that I asked my Egyptologist where the Temple of Amun-Ra was. He said Siwa. That is when I knew: we must go. There is unfinished work.

After the temples, some pilgrims feel a call west. This extension is integration in the body, and a sacred journey walked as the oracle — rest, water, mystery, and community after weeks inside ceremony.

We pass through Alexandria first — sea light and the threshold before the desert. Below the waterfront, the city still holds subterranean chambers, temple foundations beneath the modern street, and sanctuaries that require permission and the right introduction. We enter what matters, including sacred sites not open to the public, held in confidence for this circle.

Then into Siwa Oasis — the Oracle of Amun, the Fortress of Shali, sacred springs, and mirrored salt lakes at the edge of the Great Sand Sea. Float in the salt-water pools. Let the nervous system soften in ways stone cannot replicate.

Tolo Aria

For more than thirteen years I worked in healthcare alongside surgeons, in a world built on precision and measurable outcomes. That work gave me a deep respect for the body. It also showed me where its questions stop being asked.

When a severe autoimmune illness destabilised my own health, conventional approaches could not resolve it. I turned to nervous system regulation, breath, sound, meditation, and lineage practice. That inner work opened the door. The temples took it somewhere practice alone had not reached.

Today I lead intimate initiation journeys and sound-led pilgrimage through Sanctum of Resonance. I also offer subconscious rewiring through guided meditation in sessions and The Return. This is not a vacation model. It is ceremony on the land, in the temples, held small.

I am not a doctor and I do not treat disease. This is simply what happened in my own body.

Lineage meditation training in the Himalayan and Bihar traditions. Certified breathwork facilitator, certified meditation and Yin yoga teacher. Qigong practitioner. Ceremonialist and ritualist — holding the circle with the same precision the body asks for.

Dr. Mohammed Anwer

Dr. Mohammed Anwer grew up beside Karnak. The temple was his childhood. He is a PhD scholar and an alchemist Egyptologist. Twenty-three years of taking people through these temples have given him a particular way of working: he brings you into what a temple is still holding, rather than covering the day in chronology.

Tolo has walked these lands with him for years. She holds sound, ceremony, and the inner passage. He holds the mythology under the stone, and the living language of the sites.

We come as pilgrims in a small circle held on the ground.
